El Mundo Bizarro
Guatemala 4802
Palermo Viejo Buenos Aires
The refreshing Mundo Bizarro is perfect for the ones who are fed up with stylish it-bars and restaurants with chill out sound. The only condition: you really have to be into rock and surf music then that's the only sound they play- nonstop! Red lights and a black colored bar: a dim place in the American diner style of the fifties with plush velvet sofas in the back. Try one or two of the inventive drinks -if you can handle them! Bar Uriarte
Uriarte 1572
Palermo Viejo Buenos Aires
0054 48 34 60 04
There's another sylish restaurant hidden behind an open kitchen which is found right next to the entrance. Welcome to the Bar Uriarte. There's an airy, open wide room with lots of space, friendly waiters and a delicious, Italian inspired menu. Some people say, at the Bar Uriarte you can get the best food around. The ravioli with meat filling of the rabbit or the lamb carpaccio for example. And not to forget to be mentioned: the homemade ice cream and the grappa - directly imported from Italy of course.

El Encanto
Bonpland 1690, Quinta Bollini, Palermo Viejo
Buenos Aires
In Palermo Hollywood you can find one of the most authentic and popular Parrilla-restaurants around. Simple but excellent meat dishes are being served in this former garage. The most tender Bife paired with a great glass of Malbec. While waiting for dessert - a Flan Casero for example - discover countless pictures, photographs and yesteryears objects like soccer shirts on the walls of the Encanto. There's a first-come-first-serve policy. Encanto does not take reservations.

Lodejesus
Gurruchaga 1406, Ecke Cabrera, Palermo Viejo
Palermo Viejo Buenos Aires
0054 48 31 19 61
The waiters in here are just incredibly charming which they didn't even have to be. Then alone what is being served at the Lo de Jesus is worth a visit: Argentinean specialities like Bife De Chorizo, Lomo with Chimichurri (dressing with jalapenos, parsley, oregano, garlic, vinegar and olive oil), puree of potatoes and pumpkins and a Buding de Pan, a bred pudding, for dessert. Founded in 1953, this beautiful restaurant is located in a quiet corner in Palermo Viejo.

The Duffer Of St. George of Buenos Aires. Felix embodies the traditional art of tailoring in combination with casual streetwear, just like London's it-brand. Striped shirts, simple sweaters, t-shirts, polo shirts and accessories for Cool Cats. Also for women. Unfortunately not always satisfactory quality.

Cementeiro de la Recoleta
Buenos Aires
If you're fascinated by the spirit of cemeteries you will like the time-honored Cementeiro de la Recoleta. For centuries Buenos Aires' elite has been buried here and it is still the place where all families of significance find their final peace in sacorphagi surrounded by angel statues. One can stroll along the alleys of this noble cemetry for hours reading the names carved out of stone. The main attraction is Eva Peron's family grave.
