Mid-Levels Escalators

Central Hong Kong

www.hkcitymap.com

The Mid-Levels Escalators are a 800m long system of escalators and moving stairways. On these, you can comfortably ride to the suburbs in the hilly hinterland without having to climb the steep hills on foot. The Escalators first lead you through the Restaurant and Nightclub district of Hong Kong. Here you'll find lots of friendly restaurants and bars. Closer to the hills you come through a nice residential area. If you get off here, you can take a nice stroll, leading, by the way of the zoo, down the hill. Because the Escalators are often level with the building's first floors you'll have an excellent view on the hustle and bustle of the streets below. Check out where you can get on and off the Escalators on your city map.
